In 1993, the Club Récréatif de Grande-Digue decided to build a community center.
Built at a cost of $400,000, the Centre was fully paid on opening date in June 1985 from the generous contributions of the residents of Grande-Digue with the help of government subsidies . |
Mission
The Centre (fixed property) is owned by the parish of Grande-Digue and administered by the Club Récréatif de Grande-Digue Inc., (see below) which coordinates community activities organized by itself and other groups in the community.
Notre Centre (Our Center) as it's called, hosts recreational, cultural and social activities for the well-being of parishioners and their guests.
The board of directors of Le Club Récréatif de Grande-Digue Inc. is currently made up of the following persons:
President - Aurèle Babineau
Vice President - Diane Gallant
Treasurer - Gertrude Gauvin
Secretary - Robert Babineau
Advisor - Eugène Bourgeois
Advisor - Jean-Guy Poirier
Advisor - David Fougère
Advisor - Rhéal Arseneault
Parish advisor - Alfred Goguen
Manager - Michel Poirier
Monique Gallant is the assistant manager.
The proper functioning of Our Center is made possible thanks to the involvement of many dedicated volunteers and the partnerships established with the various parish organizations for the organization of activities. Thank you for your support.
